Merchandising Specialist

About the Role:

Ricercamy Srl is seeking a highly skilled Merchandising Specialist to join our team in the merchandising department. As a key member of our team, you will report directly to the Merchandising Director and be responsible for building line plans that align with our category strategic direction and business expectations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop line plans that reflect ongoing trends based on product, market, and consumer insights.
• Deliver profitability at the gross margin level through accurate pricing and product mix.
• Provide accurate forecasts for the category.
• Partner with the Product and OPS departments to ensure seamless collection development.
• Identify and flow compelling assortments by distribution channel and tier.
• Contribute to meeting specific strategic accounts' product needs with special make-up.
• Present product lines to sales forces and key accounts.
• Ensure showroom setup for pre-line and sales meetings.
• Create product catalogues that highlight seasonal stories with the Marketing department.
• Implement and refresh dashboards to monitor merchandising KPIs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or higher qualification.
• Prior experience in merchandising collection planning, sales forecasting, and working to budgets.
• Business acumen and analytical skills.
• Leadership skills and flexibility in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Organized and process-oriented in a multitasking working environment.
• Engaging presentation style.
• Consumer-focused product taste and passion for sport.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
