Business Analyst Role at Aon

Aon is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end requirements process from definition, traceability, and change control to ensure full range of business needs is captured.
  • Act as liaison between business and technology groups to deliver to requirements phase plans and requirements management plans.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to support data gathering, analysis, and definition of business requirements deliverables.
  • Define functional and non-functional business requirements, including User Story analysis and definition, representing business requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage requirements review and approval processes to ensure business understanding and effective communication.
  • Effectively communicate complex information and ideas in speaking and presentations so others will understand.
  • Provide information to others, both internal and external to the organization, and represent the organization to customers and other external sources.
  • Ensure high levels of accuracy, quality, and attention to detail in all project artefacts and deliverables.
  • Support business analysis inputs to key project governance forums.
  • Identify and manage stakeholders, their influence, and project impact.
Requirements
  • Previous experience within a similar role with evidence of successful delivery of IT and business change outcomes.
  • Insurance industry experience and product knowledge, including personal, commercial products, product lifecycle, policy, or claims lifecycle.
  • Experience in Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies and in User Story definition.
  • Experience in business process 'as is' and 'to be' analysis and mapping.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of internal and external management and leadership.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
