Job Title: Regional Data Key User

Join the KION Group as a Regional Data Key User and take on a key role in shaping the future of our data management organization.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Regional Data Key User. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing our Group Data Management Organization for Region and supporting future data-related projects as the analyst for specific data objects from the regional perspective.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data analysis and dashboarding related to Data Quality Management and other activities related to Data Management.
  • Support the Regional Data Steward in enforcing KION Group and ITS EMEA defined data governance rules, policies, and standards in your region.
  • Design and perform mass-data changes on behalf of the Regional Data Steward.
  • Contribute to Data Lifecycle Management at KION Group and ITS EMEA S&S level, including data storage and archiving, retention, and disposal.
  • Support the Regional Data Steward in analyzing new requirements for data objects, as well as enhancements, modifications, and improvements.
  • Document data-related processes, standards, and changes for future reference, including metadata management.
  • Contribute to data communities and future data-related projects on regional and global levels.
  • Identify and build subject matter expert networks for your region within business and IT teams.
  • Provide 2nd-level data support and expertise to process key users and end users for data requests and issues.
  • Educate other employees about data governance, data management, and the importance of data compliance.
About You:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a degree in (technical) economics, e.g., in business informatics, industrial engineering, or business administration, or a similar practical experience in a related field. You should have strong Microsoft Office suite skills, especially Excel, and experience in building dashboards, including design and data extraction techniques and tools from various sources.

You should also have a strong understanding of data management principles, including data lifecycle, quality, security, and privacy, as well as practical experience in data management and data analysis. SAP system knowledge and practical experience, ideally R3 and S/4 HANA, as well as SAP BW and SAP BW/4, are highly desirable.

You should be able to understand, investigate, and present complex data and process topics, and be able to efficiently prioritize work and provide timely updates to stakeholders on the progress. Strong written and communication skills in English are essential.
