About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Advisor - Information Assurance to join our team at Vectrus. As a key member of our organization, you will provide technical expertise and support to our clients in the areas of information assurance, cybersecurity, and network engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Technical Expertise: Offer technical guidance and support to our clients in the areas of information assurance, cybersecurity, and network engineering.
  • System Administration: Provide technical expertise for system administration and sustainment of Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS), Host Based Security System (HBSS), and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) IA tools and applications.
  • Cybersecurity Posture: Assist our clients in maintaining a strong cybersecurity posture by monitoring and providing technical expertise to assist with maintaining the command's IA posture.
  • Training and Mentoring: Provide over-the-shoulder training for all cybersecurity measures such as patching and STIG compliance, and assist in mentoring and training military technicians on configuration and maintaining dashboards, user/user groups, scheduled scans, repositories, assets, scan policies, reports, and scan zones resident in the HBSS Suite and ACAS Suites.
  • Interface with Program Offices: Interface with program office representatives regarding relevant HBSS point products and policies, and provide technical advice and assistance to the customer during preparatory phases of Command Cybersecurity Readiness Inspections (CCRI).
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent technical degree, or 8+ years of technical experience in a related discipline.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience with DoD enterprise or Navy networks, 6+ years of experience with Linux or Windows, and 6+ years of experience with Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS), Host Based Security System (HBSS), and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) IA tools and applications.
  • Certifications: Certification as IAT-III per DoD Inst and Navy guidance with IA and CE required, and certification in Windows or Linux operating systems required.
  • Skills: Network operations and maintenance with experience in server virtualization and systems administration (Linux and/or Windows) required, information assurance subject matter expertise in support of planning and implementation of security measures and compliance with DoD and Command cybersecurity directives, and knowledge of military C2 architectures required.
  • Clearance: Top Secret clearance required.
