Quantum Technology Policy Specialist

Cronos Europa is a leading IT consultancy firm, providing innovative and cutting-edge solutions to the European Institutions. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quantum Technology Policy Expert to contribute to our team at our Ispra site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessing Quantum Technology developments in the field of sensing, communication, and computation
• Creating complex Intelligence Solutions
• Designing architectures and processes
• Gathering business requirements
• Data analysis and modelling
• Data quality
• Reporting
• Identifying quantum applications of interest for the EU space, defence, and security policies
• Elaborating programs
• Writing technical documentation
• Participating in meetings with other project teams

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience in developing and implementing policies related to in-field applications of quantum technologies
• At least 6 years of specific experience in the assessment of quantum technologies for EU policy-making
• Strong analytical and data management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience in the European policy environment, particularly related to space, defence, and security, is a plus
