About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our team at Study International. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex software systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software systems for embedded devices, including firmware and software components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development projects.
  • Develop and maintain software documentation, including technical specifications and user manuals.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, including debugging and testing.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our software development processes.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on embedded systems.
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
  • Experience with Linux operating system, including SSH, SCP, and FUSE.
  • Knowledge of complex software integrations, including multi-process and multi-system.
  • Knowledge of complex computer networking, including iptables, VLANs, and ICMP.
  • Knowledge of database technologies, including SQL and noSQL.
  • Ability to write, compile, and debug low-level languages, such as C and C++.
  • Ability to write and debug Python and BASH scripts.
  • TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Federal government, including DoD and IC, Cyber Operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Master's degree.
