**Role Overview**

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to oversee site engineering activities, including project scoping, designing, procurement, installation, and commissioning at our plant in Castelnuovo Vomano.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex projects, team leadership, and relationship building with external suppliers. They will be responsible for executing projects that align with Perfetti Van Melle's values (people, planet, profit), budget management, and driving innovation and development within the organization.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Manage site engineering teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards;
  • Develop and implement strategies for procuring new machinery and equipment while maintaining relationships with key suppliers;
  • Initiate innovations and developments by bringing forward new ideas and collaborating with Group Engineering and functional scopes;
  • Maintain relationships with local and international suppliers for state-of-the-art updates and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;

**Requirements:**

  • Engineering University Degree (preferably in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical);
  • 5+ years of experience in the Engineering field in FMCG industry; experience in Maintenance is an added advantage;
  • Fluent spoken and written English;
  • Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent);
  • Proven track record of managing large scope projects and demonstrating continuous improvement methodologies;
  • Strong team player with ability to drive change and influence others within the project organization;
  • Courage to speak up when conflict arises necessary for project prosecution.

**Benefits and Remuneration:

The selected candidate can expect a competitive salary range of €80,000 - €110,000 per annum, commensurate with their experience and qualifications.
