Hitachi Rail is a global leader in the rail industry, and we are looking for a talented Interior Systems Engineer to join our team in Pistoia, Italy. As a key member of our Engineering Department, you will be responsible for designing and developing interior systems for our trains, including passenger seats, front ends, and other equipment.

Your main responsibilities will include supporting and coordinating during the bid and project development of the technical design of interiors, front end, passenger seats systems. You will also define the conceptual solution of these equipments integration on vehicles, prepare system requirements specifications of these systems, and analyze suppliers' technical proposals.

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in the interiors design in railway or mechanical industry with the role of System Interiors Engineer or mechanical industry. You will also need good knowledge of materials such as GRP, aluminium alloy, Honeycomb, and other materials used for interiors, front end, and seats.
