Redstone Search is a global commodities search firm offering comprehensive solutions to the industry. Our expertise spans Trading Houses, Producers, Majors, Utilities, Merchants, Hedge Funds, Investment Banks, and Brokerages.

We are partnering with a prominent steel trading house in Dubai to find a Steel Trader - Long Products Specialist for their commercial team.

The ideal candidate will manage steel sales in the Singaporean market and explore new opportunities within South East Asia. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and achieving annual trading targets
• Creating sales strategies to meet business plans
• Maintaining relationships with producers and importers
• Staying up-to-date on customer requirements, market activity, and supplier performance

This role reports directly to the Steel Trading General Manager. The successful candidate will have:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in steel and raw materials trading in Asia
• Good working knowledge of INCO TERMS 2020, contract exposure, UCP 600, and marine freight
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• An independent mindset to support growth aspirations
• Fluency in English and Mandarin

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
