Senior Compliance Manager

TerraPay is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager to design and implement a robust compliance framework that ensures adherence to Italian and EU regulations. As a key member of our compliance team, you will play a critical role in our commitment to simplifying the global money movement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement TerraPay Italy's compliance framework to align with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and execute a compliance monitoring and testing plan to ensure ongoing adherence.
  • Oversee compliance with Italian and EU regulations, focusing on transparency and safeguarding.
  • Report to the board and senior management on compliance performance and regulatory risks.
  • Create and implement policies and procedures that meet regulatory standards.
  • Review and approve new products to ensure compliance with relevant laws.
  • Maintain a regulatory risk register and breach register in collaboration with the Risk function.
  • Provide ad-hoc compliance advice to the business regarding new products and markets.

Requirements:

  • 10 to 15 years of experience in compliance, preferably in financial services or payments.
  • Relevant degree in law, finance, or a related field; knowledge of compliance tools and software is a plus.
  • Additional certifications in compliance, such as CAMS or CCEP, are a plus.
  • Experience in project management or risk assessment methodologies is a plus.
