Redstone Search is seeking a skilled Wheat Bran Trader to join our client's millers by product division in Cape Town. As a Wheat Bran Trader, you will be responsible for executing strategic trades of wheat bran and other millers by products to optimize profitability, while managing positions and taking actions to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute strategic trades of wheat bran and other millers by products to optimize profitability.
- Manage positions and take actions to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Utilize existing network to maintain and expand the client base, providing exceptional service by understanding client needs and ensuring timely execution.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies, monitor and analyze risk exposure, adjusting strategies for a balanced portfolio.
- Develop, update, and communicate market intelligence, including reports on key indicators such as prices, stocks, and market sentiment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a wheat bran trader with a transferable book of business.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field (advanced degree is a plus).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a deep understanding of commodity markets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
