Software Developer

We are seeking a skilled software developer to join our agile team, dedicated to evolving video-based business intelligence solutions.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented individual with a passion for technology, a collaborative mindset, and a deep curiosity about how things work. The ideal candidate will be self-directed, able to mentor others, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, coding, testing, and debugging of C++ applications under Windows and Linux environments;
  • Support the team in resolving customer issues;
  • Contribute to major project high-level design strategy;
  • Assist the manager in delivery-related activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience;
  • Experience designing and developing scalable, high-performance, and highly-available embedded and/or server applications;
  • Experience in C++ development, including knowledge of C++11 features, Boost, and STL;
  • Real-time operating systems, inter-process communication, and multi-threaded applications;
  • Embedded system development, cross-platform development;
  • Familiarity with databases systems and languages;
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and tools;
  • Experience in Agile software development environments;
  • Object-oriented design and design patterns;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Independent judgment and ability to work well with a cross-functional team;
  • Fluent in Italian and English.

Desirable Assets:

  • Digital signal processing algorithms and techniques;
  • Experience with C, assembler, SIMD instructions sets, and ARM development;
  • Experience with Linux kernel and driver development;
  • Image, video, and audio compression and/or analytical processing;
  • Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL, and time series databases;
  • Experience with containers and orchestration technologies;
  • Knowledge of formal design patterns and languages;
  • Other technology experience.

Benefits:

Hybrid working model with 2/3 days per week on site in Desio.
