Job Summary:

The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) plays a crucial role in designing, building, testing, and implementing application solutions across various business functions, including Finance, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analytics, Sales, Supply Chain, HR, Payroll, and Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Functional Knowledge:
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define processes that meet business needs.
    • Ensure processes are scalable and flexible to meet future business requirements.
    • Design processes that can be implemented with minimal disruption to supporting systems and are cost-effective.
    • Anticipate the needs of stakeholders affected by process changes.
    • Ensure that proposed changes represent the best overall fit for the organization.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on features and capabilities of ERP, continuously working to understand ERP capabilities, functionality, features, and modules to provide solutions that make users and the company more efficient and cost-effective.
  • Business Requirements Definition and Technical Team Coordination:
    • Develop and define IT requirements to support process and system changes.
    • Lead mid to large-size ERP projects, overseeing project teams, monitoring progress, setting deadlines, and meeting the needs of key stakeholders in a timely manner.
    • Co-lead design sessions to identify gaps and opportunities.
    • Create detailed functional design documents for conversions, interfaces, and reports.
    • Coordinate with IT development teams to manage the development process and resolve issues.
    • Prepare and execute testing plans to ensure high-quality results.
  • Support and Technical Sustaining Operations:
    • Monitor implemented systems and processes to ensure high performance.
    • Manage support requests to ensure timely and thorough resolution of issues.
    • Engage with vendor service support groups to bring resolution to system performance or other processing issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or Accounting, Economics, or Information Technology.
  • Very good understanding of key business concepts, processes, and terminology, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting.
  • 8+ years of experience with supporting or configuring ERP systems to enhance functionality.
  • 3+ years of ERP Project Leadership.
  • 3+ years of experience with Oracle ERP Cloud Financials.
  • Experience in designing integration solutions with Oracle ERP Cloud.
  • Oracle ERP Cloud certification is highly desirable.
