Job Description: We are seeking a skilled SCADA Engineer to join our team at Consol Partners. As a member of our Instrumentation and Control team, you will be responsible for implementing, quality assuring, and providing operational support for SCADA systems in high-voltage substations and generation & storage assets.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform engineering activities, remote configurations, site implementations, and contractor steering
  • Define and prepare technical specifications, check designs provided by contractors and suppliers
  • Design system interfaces, develop and implement them, conduct quality and acceptance tests of contractors
  • Accompany complex commissioning activities of suppliers, coordinate with operations teams for troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Manage contractors and service providers, lead and drive SCADA projects to optimize monitoring and control functions

Requirements:



  • University Degree or equivalent in a relevant technical or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience with SCADA systems, experience with control systems, automation, PLCs, RTUs, and IEDs
  • Experience with industrial communication protocols, network design and/or administration, and network components setup
  • Certification in networking is a plus, experience with SCADA systems in high-voltage substations, wind turbines, and/or solar plants is a plus
  • Relevant Project Management skills and experience with supervision of contractors, ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Ability to conduct risk analysis and implement risk mitigation plans, ability to multi-task and schedule according to project priority
  • Valid EU driving license, fluent in written and spoken English and Italian, other languages like Polish, Swedish, French, German, or Spanish are a plus
