Manufacturing Shop Director

Jefferson Wells is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Shop Manager to join our team in the Automotive sector. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the profitability and quality of our manufacturing shop.

• Guarantee the profitability and quality of the shop by taking responsibility for quality control and achieving results.
• Ensure the required performance level of production programs in terms of quantity, quality, costs, and level of service, working in collaboration with technical and organizational plant structures.
• Apply saturation rules of production equipment and production programming, detecting deviations and taking management actions to guarantee required levels.
• Apply continuous improvement tools and stimulate purposefulness and motivation.
• Apply delegation mechanism and collect data for target achievement trend analysis.
• Knowledge of prevention diary, including ISO safety norms, safety policies, safety equipment control, and training.

• Mechanical Engineering Degree
• Very good English knowledge
• Solid experience in a similar role, preferably in the Automotive sector
• Focus on results, leadership, experience in managing a work team
• Knowledge of continuous improvement tools
• Ability in coordination of quality activities in the shop
• Knowledge of ISO safety norms and safety policies
• Knowledge of quality control indicators, techniques, and tools
• Planning & control analysis, communication, orientation to change, stress handling, focus on Customer
