Radiology Assistant

At University Hospitals Pain Management, we are seeking a skilled Radiology Tech Extender to join our team.

About the Role

The Radiology Tech Extender will provide critical support to our Radiologic Technologists, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient imaging processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist Radiologic Technologists with patient assessments, preparation, and instruction, promoting effective communication with the healthcare team.
2. Facilitate patient care, including lifting, transporting, and monitoring patients, while maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
3. Manage Radiology computer information and data entry, ensuring accurate and timely updates to our PAC system.
4. Ensure the availability of procedural supplies, including ordering and stocking patient care items, to meet the needs of our patients and staff.
5. Contribute to hospital initiatives aimed at enhancing patient satisfaction and experience.
6. Adhere to MRI and radiation safety policies and procedures, prioritizing patient and staff safety.
7. Embody our hospital's Core Values, SOPs, policies, and standards in all aspects of work.
8. Register and check-in patients, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
9. Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, ensuring a cohesive and patient-centered approach.
