Operations Leader Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Leader to join our team at Essity's Lucca plant. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing 3 direct reports and their teams, totaling approximately 70 staff members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire manufacturing setup from the perspective of the 5M's within the production area.
  • Ensure effective Continuous Improvement from both daily and strategic perspectives.
  • Convert the Industrial Plan into annual objectives and establish NFKPI's targets.
  • Guarantee the department meets the necessary production standards in Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale.
  • Oversee the People Performance Management process and manage consequences within your department.
Requirements:
  • Possessing a degree in Engineering Disciplines or equivalent experience.
  • Background in plant operations and experience in managing people.
  • Continuous Improvement mindset and experience in lean methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and team building skills.
  • Fluency in both Italian and English.
