Mechanical Assembly Technician

Aicnet is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team in Trasaghis, Udine. As a key member of our industrial automation team, you will be responsible for the assembly and installation of specialty machines for the steel industry.

• Assembly and Installation: Mounting and assembly of special machines and robotic islands according to technical specifications and mechanical drawings.
• Electrical Component Installation: Installation of electrical components and wiring.
• Testing and Inspection: Performing function tests and inspections to ensure proper assembly and operation of machines.
• Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnosis and troubleshooting of both mechanical and electrical technical problems, as well as preventive and corrective maintenance of robotic islands to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Collaboration and Documentation: Collaboration with the engineering team to make improvements and modifications to existing designs, and documentation of activities performed and compilation of action and maintenance reports.

• Education: Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent degree.
• Experience: Prior experience of at least 3-5 years in mechanical and electrical assembly of industrial machinery, preferably robotic islands.
• Skills and Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings, skill in handling measuring instruments and shop tools, knowledge of electrical and mechanical safety regulations, and ability to problem solve and work independently.
• Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication skills and aptitude for teamwork, with a willingness to travel for customer installations and maintenance work.
