Renishaw Spa is our Italian subsidiary, marketing and supporting all our products in Italy and abroad. With a growth in operations, we're looking for an Industrial Automation Applications Engineer to join us in Italy.

The Role

This opportunity is ideal for individuals with experience installing and supporting industrial robots in the field. You'll support manufacturers, integrators, and end-users applying and using our devices for robot process control and calibration. Additionally, you'll provide pre-sales support to our sales network.

Main Responsibilities

  • Install and commission Renishaw process control and calibration devices for robots, including software.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to Renishaw products for robotics.
  • Demonstrate hardware and software products at customer sites, in cooperation with the sales network or independently.
  • Provide training to customers at their sites.
  • Liaise with the UK headquarters and the EMEA Group infrastructure to improve your knowledge and develop special applications.
  • Ambassador for this technology.

Key Requirements

  • Technical high school diploma or scientific/engineering university degree.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in field installing and supporting major industrial robots brands.
  • Frequent travel in Italy and occasional international travel expected.
  • Fluent Italian and English (spoken and written).
  • IT literacy.
  • Organized, self-motivated individual with good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Methodical and systematic approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to remain confident in customer-facing environments.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Category B driving license.

Desirable Requirements

  • Background working at an integrator or robot OEM.
  • Knowledge of technical and electrical drawings, and mechanical machining.
  • Knowledge of systems and methods for industrial metrology.
  • Resident in North-Western Italy.
