We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Sales and Business Development Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, generating leads, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive sales growth and revenue.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales, business development, or project management roles, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the railway industry. You will possess excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to think strategically and prioritize tasks effectively. Additionally, you will be comfortable working in a collaborative environment and be able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • You will identify and pursue new business opportunities, generate leads, and develop strategic plans to meet customer needs.
  • You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the sales process.
  • You will support market analysis and business development initiatives, including market research and competitive analysis.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A University Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Economics.
  • Fluent English language skills, with additional European languages such as Italian, French, German, or Spanish being an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in sales, business development, or project management roles in the railway industry.
  • Experience with procurement/bidding portals or other IT data collection and analysis systems.
  • Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets, high initiative and decision-making skills, ability to think strategically.
