Job Title: Site-Based Construction ManagerLocation: ItalyWe are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our dynamic construction management team in Italy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful on-site execution of solar PV EPC projects from construction planning and establishment through commissioning, energization, and handover.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the construction process, ensuring compliance with company procedures, legislation, standards, and industry best practices.
- Lead a team of professionals in achieving project milestones, including preparation and compilation of supporting documentation.
- Cultivate effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and communication.
- Adopt, implement, and improve JUWI's construction management standards and processes to minimize project risk and maximize performance.
- Evaluate and ensure compliance with specifications, requirements, and drawings associated with construction, quality, testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or relevant experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of construction management experience in electrical infrastructure projects, with at least 4 years managing large-scale solar PV plants, including grid connection (MV).
- Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective communication at all levels, both internally and externally.
- A proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, safely, and compliant with technical and quality requirements.
- Experience working autonomously, with strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with construction management tools, MS Project, MS Planner, MS Office, Autodesk BIM, Procore, etc.
- Demonstrable experience in construction cost, schedule, risk, technical, and quality management, as well as quality control.
- Fluency in English and Italian.
