Position Overview

Bulgari SPA, operating within its Global Merchandising Division, is in search of a Jewelry & Watches Product Merchandising Analyst. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing and updating the Product database, ensuring precision and timely modifications, while providing crucial assistance to the Merchandising team in evaluating sales performance and formulating effective strategies for product distribution.

Key Responsibilities

Product Database Oversight:

Ensure the maintenance and accuracy of the Product database, which serves as the foundation for merchandising documentation and analyses. Collaborate with Product Managers from various Business Units for the introduction of new products and the management of current product life cycles. Work alongside Sales teams to establish assortments for third-party vendors. Update and manage documentation provided to Local Merchandisers, including Merchandising Guidelines, Phase-out & Classification changes, and New Products booklet.

Portfolio Management & Merchandising Guidelines:

Supervise the Portfolio and Merchandising guidelines documentation, ensuring its accuracy and relevance. Suggest enhancements to improve the clarity and effectiveness of the Guidelines. Conduct simulations of prospective assortments to identify limitations for drafting Merchandising Guidelines. Assign Product Merchandising Types and determine maximum values for each assortment. Collaborate in the creation of the Visual Merchandising Guidelines brief for Jewelry & Watches.

Sales Performance Evaluation:

Support the Manager in analyzing and reporting on the sales performance of the product assortment.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications and Skills

Master's degree in Economics, Statistics, or Engineering. 2 to 3 years of experience in roles demanding strong analytical capabilities, with a background in database management, data cleansing, and quantitative analysis (preferably within consulting environments). Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and presentation. Advanced skills in MS Office suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint). Familiarity with Power BI. Proficient in both Italian and English.
