Field Services Technician - Power Transformers
About the Role
Join Siemens Energy Transformers as a Field Services Technician and gain a deep understanding of the ambitious work activities of a Power Transformers factory. You will have the opportunity to work with a highly motivated and international team, facing a broad variety of customers and projects in different countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding and professional services on-site, in key categories, maintenance, repairs, engineering, and consulting.
- Arrange travel using SE Tools and prepare all necessary materials and documentation, including final technical reports.
- Exceed customer expectations by understanding needs and identifying potential sales and business opportunities.
- Suggest product and process upgrades within the business to improve operations and customer service.
Requirements
- Academic background in electromechanical or electric field or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability as a field service technician, preferably on power transformers sector or electrical substation field, with a track record of maintenance, repair, and retrofit works.
- Ability to act as the lead on field projects, having a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, while communicating clearly and expertly to partners.
- Valid driver's license and availability to travel both in Italy and abroad (60% of time as minimum).
- Proficiency in Italian and English. Knowledge of other languages is considered a plus.
