Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Management Specialist to join our team at the Air Force Institute of Technology. As a key member of our Logistics Directorate, you will be responsible for providing guidance on movement control operations, coordinating special handling requirements, and maintaining control over traffic management and logistics regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance on movement control operations of transportation concepts, principles, and methodology
• Coordinate special handling or movement requirements associated with freight, fleet management program, passengers, or other transportation operations
• Maintain control over traffic management and logistics regulations to assure the propriety and legality of passenger and cargo movement
• Plan, coordinate, and maintain in-transit visibility of movement requirements

Requirements:
• At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
• Experience must demonstrate the ability to provide guidance on movement control operations, coordinate special handling requirements, and maintain control over traffic management and logistics regulations
