Qair is an independent power producer of exclusively renewable energy, developing, financing, building, and operating solar, onshore and offshore wind, hydroelectric, and green hydrogen projects. With a presence in 16 countries across Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Asia, the group aims to become a responsible energy leader.

The group's expertise covers the entire energy production chain, from development to power sales, including financing, construction, operation, and decommissioning. Qair designs and implements tailored solutions for each territory and offers bespoke financial packages to local authorities and industrialists.

As part of the French Group Qair, Qair Italia is an IPP active in large renewable energy development (wind farms, PV, and hydrogen plants) throughout Italy. With a competent and professional team, Qair Italia has over 1.5 GW in the authorization process and first construction in 2023. The goal is to have 500 MW in operation by 2025.

To support this growth, Qair Italia is recruiting a Financial Controller to work at our office in Potenza, Italy.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform financial and analytical accounting
  • Participate in budgeting processes
  • Prepare financial reports
  • Manage active service contracts
  • Oversee cash movements
  • Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies
  • Perform month-end and year-end close processes
  • Gather and monitor financial data
  • Support the preparation of annual financial statements
  • Assist the CFO in various duties

Required Experience and Skills

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
  • Professional experience in audit or finance roles from renewable or other energy sectors
  • Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Flexibility to travel
  • Bilingual Italian language and great English communication skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities
  • Strong initiative as a team player
  • Willingness to learn and improve
