Job Title: Data Center Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Technician to join our team at Oracle. As a Data Center Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our data center infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and network equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and maintenance for data center infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and network equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure seamless operation of data center services.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data center infrastructure and procedures.
  • Participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all production server hardware and software.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in IT infrastructure support and server administration in a mid-sized environment.
  • Knowledge of data center design, including electrical and cooling plant operation.
  • Strong structured cabling skills on fiber and copper.
  • Experience with systems administration, hardware repair, and networking fundamentals.
