Job Summary

The Cluster Chief Engineer is responsible for the maintenance of company assets, ensuring compliance with technical and legal obligations, and managing energy budgets and risks for hotels within their Operations Center (OC).

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and analyze engineering needs and opportunities in hotels under their responsibility, providing feedback to the OC and Engineering Partner.
  • Ensure compliance with technical and legal obligations in OC buildings and facilities, including HACCP, occupational health and safety, customer safety, ecology, and the environment.
  • Act as a preventative resource for activities involving risk, ensuring the occupational health and safety of all staff and coordinating with external companies as needed.
  • Supervise the resolution of technical or legal incidents.
  • Coordinate teams in the OC and Business Units, providing instructions for carrying out activities in the Preventative Maintenance Plan.
  • Supervise the implementation of company policies and projects related to energy use.
  • Analyze and prioritize OC investment requests for risks, collecting required authorizations according to MHI regulations.
  • Participate in the preparation of their department's budget, following set guidelines.
  • Periodically analyze the P&L of their department, reviewing revenues and expenses, seeking to maximize results, and identifying opportunities for improvement with the support of the Business Partner.
  • Conduct performance reviews of their team.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Procedures and Instructions.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree.
  • Previous strong experience in hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting.
  • Professional knowledge of both Italian and English.
