DevSecOps Engineer

JMA Wireless is a leading technology company that enables 5G connectivity for organizations with critical connectivity demands. We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in Bologna, Italy.

About the Role

The DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for building and enabling Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployment processes. This role will also involve implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to validate product integration in production-like systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to validate product integration in production-like systems.
• Perform analysis and evaluations of DevSecOps issues, develop remediation solutions, and assign tasks for implementation.
• Support the Security team in their effort to provide security patch releases/bundles for product software applications.
• Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and Podman to facilitate application deployment and scalability.
• Manage container orchestration and deployment using Kubernetes and RedHat OpenShift.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Ansible.
• Implement and maintain scripts and automation tools (Python, Bash, Ansible) for tasks automation in Linux environment.
• Manage version control and collaboration using Git.
• Create and maintain documentation and knowledge sharing spaces using Confluence.
• Collaborate with team leads to configure and customize Jira Software for project management and issue tracking.
• Support RD teams and Project Managers on Atlassian suite tools usage providing guidance, customization, etc.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer engineering or computer science.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD concepts.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Podman), Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift.
• Knowledge with Atlassian suite (Jira Software, Bitbucket, Confluence) or similar tools.
• Proficiency with Python and Bash scripting languages.
• Proficiency with RESTful API concepts.
• Knowledge of Git.
• Good knowledge of Linux Operating System and command line.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in Italian and English (B2 level at least).
