Role Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Business Solutions Engineer to join our team at Vodafone. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex cyber security solutions and projects that meet the needs of our business.

Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership

• Design and implement cyber security solutions and platforms that integrate with Vodafone's network and infrastructure
• Collaborate with Technology departments, Vodafone Business, and vendors during the presale phase (public and private tenders) and productization
• Ensure seamless integration of solutions into Vodafone's ecosystem (tools, processes, and cyber security guidelines)
• Guarantee a well-documented and smooth hand-over to operation and assurance teams
• Collaborate with Project Management and SOC teams in delivery and in-life phases to ensure continuous and high-quality support

Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience

• Strong competence and experience in unified threat management appliances (focus on Fortinet)
• Good knowledge (experience is preferred) about DDoS mitigation, SIEM, SOAR, XDR, SASE, Identity Management, VPN, and Web Application Firewall platforms and network CPE solutions
• Good competence and experience in architectural network design with a focus on security elements
• Passionate about technology, innovation, and cyber security

Preferred Technical/Professional Qualifications

• Fortinet certifications (at least NSE level 4)
• CISSP
• CISM
• CompTIA Security+
• Other Security vendor-specific certifications are preferred (CCNP/JNCIS/CCSE)

Who We Are

• Graduated (Engineering) BA or master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent industry experience
• English upper-intermediate
