System Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineering Manager to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for establishing the system development strategy and implementing the system roadmap in collaboration with our System Design & Architectures group manager, System Design Authority, System Architects, and System Engineering and product developments Manager.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in the Program core team to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
- Apply process, methods, and tools as referenced by the program development processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Define the system development strategy and roadmap for development and sustaining in collaboration with the System Program Manager, program core team, and support of the System Architect(s).
- Define and obtain commitments and maintain WP (Work Package) files (QCD commitments) for the system/sub-system in your scope.
- Produce and maintain the System Engineering Management Plan, identifying system development strategy and baselines, processes and tailoring, and deviations.
- Ensure application of technical decision management and validate decisions together with program stakeholders.
- Organize and lead system design reviews to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Coordinate system development activities, including system design and specifications, and participate in Change Control Boards (CCBs) with program stakeholders.
- Alert and report on any events or risks that may impact system development and associated QCD commitments.
- Participate in system development schedule reviews and establish consolidated reporting on your WPs of the system development.
- Provide QCD analysis estimation on evolution together with the program core and engineering teams.
- Organize and lead system delivery together with the Configuration Manager.
- Liaise with the System Application Architect for projects and tenders activities, including evolutions and anomalies analysis, and documentation support.
- Capture and activities for continuous improvement with the System Program Manager.
- Promote the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhere to the highest standards of ethical conduct.
