About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Engineer to join our Product Engineering team at ABB E-mobility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects and activities during the life cycle of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage projects and activities during the life cycle of our products, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Coordinate work of multi-location and cross-functional project teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Motivate and monitor internal and/or external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones.
  • Manage the cost, schedule, and performance objectives of projects and its work packages within a global organization.
  • Ensure transparency around change requests, unforeseen results/events, and identified risks, and ensure that they are properly managed and communicated.
  • Manage all product variants and customization requests in accordance with the ABB gate model from request to release for sales.
Requirements
  • You have a Master's degree or similar with a solid technical background (electrical engineering, mechatronics, electronics, power systems, or other) that fits our R&D organization.
  • Previous experience as a project engineer, with a good feeling for software, understanding of power electronics, solid mechanical and electrical understanding is a plus.
  • You have project management skills and/or Certification (PMP or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Product standard certification is required.
  • Good knowledge of English and Italian, both written and spoken.
  • Proactivity, teamwork skills, problem-solving, and result orientation will complete your profile.
