About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at E80 Group S.p.a. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will play a crucial role in the evolution of our product, bringing your experience and willingness to learn about our unique blend of robotics, software engineering, automation, and networking.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the preparation, planning, and execution of test plans, covering functional, performance, scalability, and security aspects.
  • Develop and maintain automatic test suites, analyzing their execution output to ensure the product meets expectations.
  • Work on data preparation, tracking defects, gathering data, and monitoring quality metrics.
  • Collaborate with the team in reproducing, troubleshooting, and integrating defect fixes.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in software or computer science engineering or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of experience in software testing and automation testing areas.
  • Knowledge and competence in testing at different levels (Unit, Integration, System, and Acceptance).
  • Ability to design test plans, write procedures, execute, and track results properly.
  • Experience in writing test cases and test reports.
  • Working experience with performance/scale/stress testing and related tools and techniques.
  • Competence and work experience in scripting and programming languages (C#, Python, bash/powershell).
  • Working experience with test automation tools (UI: Selenium WebDriver, Cypress; API: Apache Jmeter, Postman).
  • SQL database experience.
  • Unit testing experience (Junit).
  • Work experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Fluent English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working experience in industrial automation, telco, or mission-critical software is highly appreciated.
  • ISTQB Certifications.
  • Knowledge and experience in cybersecurity aspects (vulnerabilities, tools, SAST/DAST, penetration tests, etc).
  • Hands-on practice in Azure DevOps.
  • Hands-on experience with Git, Git-flow, etc.
  • Testing experience with different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) and devices (PC/Windows, Linux, mobile).
