Job Title: Test Engineer with Chinese Language

Thundersoft Europe is seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer with expertise in Chinese language to join our team in Milan, Italy. As a key member of our telecommunications team, you will be responsible for testing smartphones and cellular networks in the field using various testing tools such as QXDM and ELT.

Responsibilities:
  • Cooperate and communicate with local mobile operators to ensure seamless testing and deployment of mobile devices and networks.
  • Conduct manual testing of smartphones and cellular networks in the field, analyzing and troubleshooting issues with mobile devices and network connectivity.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to identify, report, and verify issues, providing clear and concise feedback on testing results.
  • Report daily on project progress and collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Perform testing on various cellular technologies such as 4G, LTE, 5G, IMS, VoLTE, and VoWiFi, using testing tools such as QXDM and ELT to collect and analyze network logs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, telecommunications, or a related field.
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in manual testing of smartphones and cellular networks.
  • Strong understanding of 4G, LTE, 5G, IMS, VoLTE, VoWiFi, Handover, Redirection, and Reselection.
  • Knowledge of testing tools such as QXDM and ELT.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and identify issues with mobile devices and network connectivity.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate testing results and feedback clearly and concisely to team members.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • English B2, Italian, Chinese language proficiency.
