Prototyping Specialist

Job Summary

The Prototypist plays a crucial role in the creation of luxury bags at Burberry Limited. Reporting to the Prototyping Coordinator, this individual is responsible for assembling high-quality bag parts and related metal hardware or accessories in line with project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret patterns to identify the various components that make up a luxury bag
• Assemble bag parts with precision and attention to detail
• Mount accessories on luxury bags to ensure a high-quality finish
• Suggest technical and quality improvements to enhance the manufacturing process
• Collaborate with the CAD and Industrialization teams to drive continuous improvement

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in prototyping and luxury bag manufacturing
• Good knowledge of manufacturing techniques and processes, particularly in leather goods
• Basic knowledge of metal hardware and commonly used materials
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
