As a key member of our R&D department, you will play a critical role in driving product development and innovation. You will work closely with our global sales and product development teams to ensure our products meet the needs of our customers.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced R&D Project Manager to join our team in Monza. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be responsible for leading projects from concept to delivery, ensuring they meet budget, schedule, and quality targets.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including global sales and product development, to drive innovation and deliver results. Your expertise will be essential in driving product improvement and optimization, ensuring industry and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
As an R&D Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading R&D projects using the Stage-Gate approach through Alfa Laval's standard PROMAL procedure
- Coordinating project teams and interacting with peers and experts
- Planning and monitoring activities, reporting progress to management and stakeholders
- Developing and maintaining good standard solutions together with BU
- Ensuring industry and quality standards are met
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with:
- A strong technical background and at least 5 years of experience in the same role
- Certification of competences is a plus
- Understanding of the fuel conditioning process on board vessels and the marine sector
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments and Office package
