Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to cover the Centre and South regions of Italy. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing in-market plans to increase Trek's share and brand position in the territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute in-market plans to increase Trek's share and brand position in the Centre and South regions of Italy.
  • Responsible for developing and executing in-store plans, including stocking new ranges and remodeling stores.
  • Develop sales strategy in cooperation with the core team and keep dealers informed.
  • Conduct market research to understand the competitive environment.
  • Work closely with marketing on marketing plans, introductions, and communication via email, web, POP, and B2B.
  • Increase business knowledge at our dealer base and be a trusted business consultant to them.
  • Work with Sales Manager to set overall targets and split those per territory.
  • Report on sales numbers.
  • Stimulate the use of sales reporting tools.
  • Monitor stock position and initiate sales promotions to close out products in time.
  • Work with credit management regarding credit risks.
  • Participate in 'Win the Season' events with dealers.
  • Visit dealers, with 75% of travel required.
Requirements
  • Fluent in Italian and English, with additional languages a plus.
  • Experience in the cycling industry.
  • 5 years of experience in a sales position.
