Operational and IT Risk Analyst

Euronext Clearing is seeking a skilled Operational and IT Risk Analyst to join our Risk Policy department. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating non-financial risks, with a focus on Operational and IT risks.

Our company provides proven risk management capabilities across a range of markets and trading venues. As an Operational and IT Risk Analyst, you will support the development, implementation, and communication of risk-related policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct critical analysis of business processes to identify potential risks
  • Identify and assess operational risks, with a focus on IT-related risks such as Cyber security, Business continuity, and Third-party risks
  • Develop and manage key risk indicators and promote risk awareness across the organization
  • Provide guidance on the development, implementation, and communication of risk-related policies and standards
  • Evaluate the adequacy of IT controls and other mitigants
  • Analyze business incidents and problems
  • Develop recommendations and action plans for risk owners
  • Prepare effective reporting for top management and relevant committees
  • Support the team in fulfilling internal and external audits and regulators' requests

Candidate Profile:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields
  • 2-3 years of work experience in the financial or technology services sector (banks, regulators, audit, and consultancy firms)
  • Knowledge of IT Governance, Information Security, and Business Continuity frameworks (e.g., ISO/IEC, ISO, NIST Framework, ITIL)
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office package
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving attitude
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to discuss risk in an approachable manner
  • Precision and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Risk Management and Risk Appetite frameworks
  • Audit or controls background, Big Four experience a plus
