Position Overview

HITACHI ENERGY ITALY S.P.A. is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee the execution of various initiatives within our High Voltage Business Unit. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all project activities align with our established protocols, contractual obligations, quality benchmarks, and health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the Project Controls team to develop comprehensive project documentation, encompassing scope, financial strategies, timelines, and risk management plans.

2. Uphold best practices in project execution and adhere to company policies. Monitor project progress and resource allocation efficiently. Manage project finances, including invoicing, costs, and cash flow. Identify and mitigate risks while capitalizing on potential opportunities. Document and disseminate lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure formal project closure in accordance with contractual agreements and facilitate customer acknowledgment.

3. Implement contract and claims management consistently, in line with company policies and contractual stipulations. Work closely with Supply Chain Management to procure necessary services, materials, and equipment from both internal and external sources. Assist in negotiations, claims, and project modifications.

4. Serve as the primary contact for clients and a point of escalation for project-related challenges. Foster and maintain robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication throughout.

5. Ensure adherence to company health, safety, and environmental policies throughout the project.

6. Embody the core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for actions while supporting colleagues and the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering;
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Project Management;
  • Proficient in English and Italian;
  • Strong problem-solving and communication abilities;
  • PMI/PMP certification is advantageous;
  • Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
