About the Role


We are seeking a highly motivated HSE Coordinator to join our team at Bayer CropScience srl in Latina.


Main Responsibilities



  • Ensure compliance with Bayer HSE requirements and local legal regulations in HSE matters by implementing policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Coordinate HSE activities, meetings, and training to support understanding and adoption of HSE programs and procedures.
  • Roll-out actions defined for the business/function master plan to all sites.
  • Improve hazard recognition and observation/coaching processes at the site.
  • Conduct internal audits, document results, and follow up on action plans.
  • Monitor country regulatory requirements.
  • Encourage safety observations, near misses, and first aid reporting. Conduct incident investigations and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Report progress to site leadership using performance indicators and management review processes.
  • Network with regional sites to share best practices.
  • Participate in regional networks and contribute to regional or sub-regional projects.

Requirements



  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Agronomy, Electrical, or other).
  • 3+ years of experience as an HSE technician or coordinator.
  • Experience with auditing and training programs.
  • Certified Management Systems knowledge (ISO/OHSAS) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills to manage volatile markets.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with stakeholders.
  • Strong customer focus mindset.
  • Self-motivation, agile mindset, and business acumen.
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Italian mother tongue.
