Senior Electromagnetic Application Engineer for Aerospace and Defense (m/f/d)

About the Position

We are seeking a talented professional to join our team as a Senior Electromagnetic Application Engineer for Aerospace and Defense. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional results and driving growth, with a focus on high-frequency electromagnetics applications, within the Aerospace and Defense Industry in the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver outstanding results and exceed performance expectations.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects, providing exceptional service and support.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and growth.
  5. Lead and participate in technical discussions and presentations, showcasing expertise and building trust with customers.

Requirements:

  1. Master's degree in electrical engineering or related subject.
  2. 5 years of industry experience with antenna design/placement, RCS, radio/radar coverage, EMC/EMI or similar applications.
  3. A thorough understanding of electromagnetic concepts, ideally in Aerospace and Defense.
  4. Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  5. Aptitude for solving engineering problems.
  6. Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites across Europe.
  7. Willingness to work on military assignments.
  8. Citizenship of an EU Country or UK.
  9. Fluent communication skills in English and one additional language among German, French, Italian depending on where the candidate is located.

Desirable Experience and Skills

  1. Aerospace and Defense industry experience and passion are a strong plus.
  2. Experience with simulation tools like Feko, CST, HFSS or XFDTD.
