Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Quality Engineer to join our team at Wabtec Corporation. As a Project Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for representing the Quality department in project platforms, interfacing with clients to resolve quality issues, and driving problem-solving activities to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interface with clients (internal or external) to manage non-conformities at zero km or warranty
  • Pilot problem-solving activities for NCRs (using 8D and PDCA-FTA methodologies) to identify root causes, implement corrective actions in production, and capitalize on actions taken
  • Monitor project development process conformity through constant use of the APQP tool
  • Represent the Quality department in project platforms and interface with clients for quality issues
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a technical field
  • Experience in Project Quality or Project Management
  • Knowledge of FMEA, 8D, PDCA/FTA, APQP, QRQC, and LLC methodologies
  • Good knowledge of the English language
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office package
  • Teamwork propensity, excellent communication and problem-solving skills
About the Role

This is a 18-month fixed-term contract position. You will be part of the Project Quality team, reporting to the Project Quality Responsible. As a Project Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for representing the Quality department in project platforms, interfacing with clients to resolve quality issues, and driving problem-solving activities to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
