Job Summary

We're seeking a talented Project Coordinator/Scheduler to join our team in the Energy sector. As a key member of our project delivery team, you'll apply your advanced planning experience to ensure the successful execution of projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Coordinating schedule-related data from vendors, suppliers, engineering, and construction contractors to provide accurate feedback into our planning and scheduling systems;
  2. Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of schedules produced, maintaining independence as a planning engineer when advising on issues requiring judgment;
  3. Managing multiple projects executed in multiple locations and by multiple contractors;
  4. Tracking and monitoring portfolio schedules;
  5. Preparing integrated planning/scheduling contributions to the Monthly Project Report and specific reports/presentations;
  6. Analyzing and highlighting the overall schedule impact of any variance/change order;
  7. Preparing resourcing plans for overall and individual project phases, identifying excessive peak numbers and making recommendations for peak leveling.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of planning/scheduling experience;
  • A strong understanding of planning/scheduling policies, methods, and procedures, including advanced planning and scheduling techniques, risk analysis, and risk management;
  • Advanced experience using project scheduling tools, such as MS Project, Primavera P6, SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, and Pertmaster;
  • Ability to coordinate/organize multiple sources of schedule inputs/performance data into a master schedule platform and deliver project/program status reports;
  • Knowledge and experience of main design or project management concepts, tools, and techniques;
  • Experience working with contractors in a project management or scheduler/planner capacity;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Tenacity and drive to inject value and create solutions;
  • Membership of a recognized professional body desirable;
  • Good knowledge and experience gained within Oil & Gas, Renewables, and Chemical sectors.
