About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Field Specialist to join our team at Baker Hughes Gruppe. As a key member of our Industry Energy Technology team, you will play a critical role in providing quality service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical direction for activities to internal teams and skilled labor to ensure safety, compliance, and quality.
  • Oversee, overhaul, troubleshoot, and commission our rotating equipment's and products at customer sites.
  • Prepare and update technical documentation, plans, daily and weekly briefing reports for customers and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure internal training, compliance, and quality documentation is updated, followed, and completed according to company standards.
  • Properly manage company digital tools to retrieve technical documents and management of packing list, bill of material, and drawings.
Requirements
  • Mechanical Technical degree or Engineering Bachelor degree.
  • Experience in a mechanical role in an energy or oil and gas environment (or similar).
  • Limited knowledge of oil and gas industry.
  • Good Mechanical attitude.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
  • Have an EU passport/European Work permit and have excellent verbal and written English and Italian language.
  • Be ready to travel significantly (up to 70%) without geographical restriction, including offshore facilities.
  • Ability to work well and communicate with others.
