This role plays a key part in promoting digitalization within construction, increasing efficiency and performance of our project execution. You will report directly to the EasyPlant Program Manager within the CMC – Construction Method Center, based in Rome, Italy.

The CMC is part of Global Construction within Delivery Excellence, developing and deploying construction engineering solutions. As a BIM - Construction Digital Engineer, you will be involved in essential initiatives:

  • Setting up and standardizing BIM coordination workflows
  • Data management using BI solutions
  • Deploying advanced working packaging (AWP) methodology on EPC projects
  • Participating in development teams using AGILE methodology

About the Job

After acquiring extensive knowledge of EasyPlant Suite functionalities, you will take on a role in the 3D Construction & Technologies team, supporting the Construction Digital Factory. As a member of the team, you will follow a growing path:

  • Studying and setting up BIM workflows to cover project requirements
  • Building and running dashboards using BI solutions
  • Supporting construction activities using BIM solutions
  • Participating in AGILE teams to perform testing activities of new/enhanced features

This process occurs within the Agile methodology, bringing a structured and effective approach to development scope, under TEN Global Governance.

Your duties will include:

  • Analysis of requirements and contribution to the definition of new work processes or modification of existing processes
  • Producing detailed functional specifications answering business requirements
  • Collaborating with your AGILE team to detail and plan user stories with acceptance criteria within the backlog
  • Participating in AGILE team meetings for program backlog refinement and preparation before the Program Increment planning event
  • Assisting the team on a daily basis, providing necessary clarifications to define story estimates and sequencing
  • Conducting user acceptance tests before final product release and supporting the deployment of new features
  • Communicating, demonstrating, and promoting new solutions using new/existing design tools

As an EasyPlant 3D Coordinator on a project, you will be accountable for the set-up, deployment, and operation of the EasyPlant suite. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating BIM 3D models to cover construction requirements using BIM software
  • Sharing feedback and requirements with discipline leaders
  • Collecting and preparing set-up data, with proper control on quality and integrity, interacting with engineering, planning, and construction representatives
  • Granting any kind of site activities reporting is properly updated and shared to all expected parties
  • Providing communication and functional training to site users
  • Assisting site/yard users for all requests related to construction tools

About You

We'd love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:

  • High School Technical Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Engineering disciplines
  • Experience with the use of the BIM tool Autodesk Navisworks
  • Experience with the use of BIM - CDE (Common data environment)
  • Experience with the use of Power Platform (Power App, Power Automate, Power BI)
  • Safe Agile certification (nice to have)
  • Knowledge in IT tools and Office suite
  • Familiarity with construction topics
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Good analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills
  • Passion for technology and digitalization
  • Full availability to move abroad, even for long-term assignments and with no preclusion to specific locations
  • Experience as a Project Engineer, Construction Engineer, or Planning Engineer (nice to have)
