About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Engineer to join our team at ABB E-Mobility. As a key member of our R&D Department, you will contribute to the development of innovative technology solutions and drive the transformation of society and industry towards a more sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate solid technical proficiency in electrical/electronics engineering, with a focus on research and development projects. Actively follow scientific discussions and contribute independently.
  • Business Acumen: Understand key business drivers for ABB and make informed judgments to contribute to results.
  • Innovation and Creativity: Contribute to R&D projects with creative ideas, propose follow-up projects, and ensure alignment with assigned targets.
  • Project Management: Lead R&D projects, ensure timely and high-quality results, and maintain awareness of state-of-the-art technology.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Participate in working teams, share technical knowledge, and provide consulting services to business operations and customers.
  • Professional Development: Participate in networks, further knowledge in targeted areas of expertise, and contribute to IP discussions.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Electronics.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar field, with the ability to manage hardware and software design tools.
  • Skills: Excellent English knowledge, with experience in lab equipment and electrical/electronics circuit understanding.
