Job Title: Backend Developer - Cloud Engineer

Assist Digital Spa is an international company providing end-to-end customer experience services to global brands. Our team is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions that combine human and artificial intelligence to turn every contact into a valuable opportunity.

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer - Cloud Engineer to join our team in Rome, Naples, or Lecce. As a key member of our Digital Factory, you will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects, collaborating with experienced Technical Architects, AI/Backend/Frontend Engineers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to contribute to delivering powered projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the design and development of enterprise web solutions by collaborating closely with multi-disciplinary teams, paying attention to the quality of the code.
  • Be personally involved in meetings with customers and support the Project Manager in the technical management of the project.
  • Analyze the feasibility of new projects or new functionalities and make any estimates of time and costs in collaboration with the reference project manager and with the other teams involved.
  • Propose, evaluate, and adopt new technologies to maximize the efficiency of development.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of full-time development experience
  • Excellent knowledge of microservices and event-driven architecture
  • Knowledge of AWS or at least one other cloud provider (i.e. Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Knowledge of Java and SpringBoot
  • Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker)
  • Knowledge of Code Repository and versioning system (preferably GitLab)
  • Good knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools
  • Fluency in English (both verbal and written)
  • Team player with strong communication skills
