Job Summary:
The Logistic Specialist is responsible for organizing the sorting and shipment of products to BLMGROUP's logistics centres and customers, while also coordinating the shipment of assemblies and components from suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely shipments: Coordinate with Sales and Production to meet customer deadlines.
- Logistics Centre Management: Schedule and organize the sorting of BLMGROUP products at logistics centres before shipment to customers.
- Supplier Management: Select, check, and monitor the quality of BLMGROUP's logistics service providers (forwarding agents, couriers, companies specializing in logistics services).
Key Activities:
- Logistics Process Management: Check and timely manage shipments and transfers at logistics centres, with timely resolution of any problems.
- System Utilization: Use systems for tracking and organizing logistics processes.
- Information Management: Manage the transfer of complete and clear information to internal (Sales and Service) and external customers, as well as to suppliers, Production, and Warehouse, to ensure the best possible outcome of shipments.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in economics/computer science.
- Language Skills: Knowledge of the English language, at B1 level or above.
- Software Skills: Familiarity with the use of the Office package, particularly good knowledge of Excel is required.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Logistics Experience: Previous experience gained in the logistics field.
- SAP Knowledge: Knowledge of SAP management software.
