The Digital Technology Product Management Director is responsible for defining, developing, and overseeing the strategic vision for digital platform services. This role involves collaboration with Business Product Managers for both Web and APP, as well as partnerships with vendors, aiming to enhance customer value while fulfilling business objectives.

Gucci has been at the forefront of digital innovation since it embraced eCommerce in 2002. Currently, Gucci operates across multiple global regions, with dedicated local eCommerce teams ensuring exceptional service standards for its clientele.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develops and drives the technical capability roadmap to meet business requirements across various applications.
  • Works closely with engineering leaders to maintain product expertise and ensure effective communication.
  • Leads the technical product management team, owning the vision for platform services.
  • Creates prototypes and establishes clear performance indicators for success.
  • Effectively communicates the vision and capabilities of the product.
  • Translates customer needs into actionable requirements.
  • Stays informed on technological trends and competitor activities to evaluate emerging products.
  • Provides training for internal teams and customers, addresses technical risks, and acts as a product authority.
  • Coordinates beta testing, defines success metrics, and maintains comprehensive product documentation.
  • Engages with stakeholders to outline product strategy and leads a team of technical product managers.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Digital Technology Product Management leadership role.
  • Proven experience in mentoring teams on product management methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale cross-functional projects.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities, with experience in agile methodologies.
