About the Role:
As an Animal Health Specialist at Elanco, you will play a crucial role in promoting the value of our Animal Health products to customers and influencers who make decisions about product usage.
Main Responsibilities:
• Contribute to achieving and exceeding sales targets in your area by generating demand for Elanco's product portfolio defined within your area of expertise.
• Manage your territory through continuous action planning, account planning, effective expense management, and adequate communication aligned with Elanco's marketing and sales objectives.
• Adhere to the visit plan and related KPIs.
• Transfer key messages and scientific information about Elanco's products to veterinarians and key influencers within your assigned territory.
• Implement and execute all planned marketing programs and initiatives communicated quarterly.
• Prepare and participate in business area reviews/forecasts, ensuring a continuous flow of information between the territory, main accounts, and the District Manager.
• Ensure knowledge of company procedures and respect company policies, quality processes, and regulations.
Requirements:
• Specialized degree in veterinary medicine or other scientific disciplines.
• Previous sales experience and interaction with veterinarians (at least 2-3 years).
• High proactivity and strong work ethic.
Priorities:
• Knowledge of the economy and driving factors in the animal health sector.
• Excellent knowledge of the English language (at least Level B2).
• Good presentation, negotiation, and analysis skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Influence and leadership capabilities.
• Strong learning capacity and team work attitude.
