About the Role:


We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Industrialization Lead to join our team at Alstom Gruppe in Florence. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading the Mechanical Industrialization Department, defining its objectives, and evaluating the performance of the team.


The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, along with 10+ years of experience in a mechanical factory as a Manufacturing Engineer. Previous experience as a team leader is a nice-to-have, as is consolidated knowledge and experience on machining technologies and superficial/heat treatments.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead the Mechanical Industrialization Department and define its objectives
  • Manage and develop internal resources by promoting the development of professional and personal skills
  • Manage new product introduction in Production and support the design for manufacturing rules
  • Guarantee the continuous improvement of serial production processes and improve quality and reduce serial production costs
  • Ensure the correct application of safety regulations and company quality procedures in collaboration with the safety department
  • Define site industrial CAPEX investments in accordance with industrial strategies

Requirements:



  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience in a mechanical factory as a Manufacturing Engineer
  • Nice-to-have: previous experience as a team leader
  • Consolidated knowledge and experience on machining technologies and superficial/heat treatments
  • Professional knowledge of English
  • Experience in ergonomic principles, process engineering, design of assembly of testing lines
  • Ability to lead the industrialization team, solve problems, and apply decisional process
  • Active listening and ability to work in a team
